Nonno is Italian for Grandfather and since I live in Italy that is what my grandchildren in California call me. They are Ben, Chase and Tanner and live in Calabasas. I got started on this blog after Ben's third grade teacher got me interested during my recent trip to Puglia in southern Italy.
So I am trying to remember what third grade students are interested in, obviously much different that I was interested in in 1947 in the Bronx.
But this will be fun, a great way to send information about Italy, and other places, to the students and a more active way to stay involved with Ben besides visits to the USA and Johnny Rockets.
